The point of view matters
No no, we know exactly what our customers need?? Design thinking = a process for solving problems by prioritizing the consumer's needs above all else. It relies on observing, with empathy, how people interact with their environments, and employs an iterative, hands-on approach to creating innovative solutions. #ux #designthinking Dipl.-Ing. Good example of how creators think and perceive VS the client perception. Clients may not always be at the position to experience the natural order of things, sometimes inverted images make more sense to clients from their position. It is also essential for clients to tell the true story so creators can understand.

I think the same logic can be applied to software selection when relying on the client (software vendor or people unfamiliar with the actual process) to decide on the solution for the users and end customer.

Helping businesses with Marketing, Campaigns, and Automation, to attract the best qualified leads, convert them into opportunities, that in turns create more revenues.
A funny yet very relevant example of what often happens. Often businesses market their products with little to no strategy at all. Or if a strategy is in place it also tends to be organisation-centric rather that customer-centered. This is one of the reasons some owners will ask the question “why are products/services less good than mine being more successfully sold?”. Marketing is definitely one aspect to remember, furthermore marketing with the consumer’s viewpoint in mind is even better. A great starting point is to create persona(s) that you wish to provide your value proposition to. It does help tailoring with better intentions. Great illustration below… and fun! What are your thoughts on Personas/Avatars?

Is funny but is real… The user experience should be a critical item in any project.

One of my very well thought of collegeues shared this great perception post with me. In Healthcare, if your not laying in the patient bed, you might get a different view like what is shown below. Thank you Vivian Gopinath for sharing this great post!!! #humancenterdesign #user-experience

A neat post warning of the dangers of ignoring the client/customer needs. Whilst this post is coming at it from an engineering design angle, the same notion is true in all creative/design disciplines, from graphics and branding to advertising and marketing - the end user might not know what they want, but they do know what they need and we ignore that at our peril.

Very nicely visualizes how important it is to take the customers view ??. That why every step we need to demo the design and prepare document for official sign.

???? Are ATS "applicant tracking systems" truly talent-friendly? ?? In an era where talent is the heartbeat of innovation and success, it's time to rethink the role of application platforms like SuccessFactors from SAP. While these tools have long been hailed for their business prowess, are they truly talent-oriented? Let's face it: navigating through SAP and similar platforms can feel like traversing a labyrinth. In today's landscape, where high unemployment may mask the inefficiencies of these systems, it's crucial to question their efficacy. Are they truly fostering an environment where you find talent? Or are they inadvertently stifling innovation and diversity? As we look to the future of work, it's time to reimagine the role of application platforms. Let's focus on the client, that is the talent of the candidate. Because in the end, it's the people behind the technology that drive true innovation and success. PS: I found this image some time ago that represents perfectly the situation. The clients are the HR departments and the user is the applicant #ATS #recruiting #talent #TalentFirst #FutureOfWork #SAP #digitalization #ApplicationPlatforms
