That's why I'm excited to share with you our "1 Child, 1 Sponsor" Back to School Drive. Our Goal is to provide every registered child with Children's Fate the support they need to access quality education. How it Works: - We match each child with a sponsor who can provide the necessary resources for the school year. - Sponsors can donate cash or educational resources such as school supplies, uniforms, and shoes. - Every donation, no matter how small, counts! Why Sponsor a Child? - Education is the key to unlocking a child's potential - Every child deserves a chance to succeed, regardless of their background - Your support can change a life! Join us from June 1st to July 12th in supporting local students as they gear up for the upcoming school year. Our collective efforts will help create a special Back to School bash on July 20th, where all collected supplies will be distributed at Tanger Outlets to the students in need. How You Can Help: 1. Drop Off School Supplies - Participating Stores: Look for stores with a Supply Drive decal on their doors. These locations have drop-off boxes where you can leave your donated school supplies. - Southaven Chamber of Commers - Desoto County School District Office 2. Monetary Donations: - The Hope Center: If you prefer to make a monetary donation, please contribute through The Hope Center HERE. Key Dates: - Supply Drive: June 1-July 12 - Back to School Bash: July 20 Why Participate? Your donations will provide essential supplies to local student, helping to ensure that every child has the tools they need to succeed in the new school year.

It’s time to start saving your Acme receipts again! Donating your receipts to the library makes a substantial impact by helping us distribute books to the community. A collection box is located near the Checkout Desk, or you can drop receipts into our Book Drop. Receipts must be received by February 23, 2025. Here's how it works: The bottom of your Acme receipt lists a Community Cash Back amount. For every receipt you submit, we receive 5% of that total as a donation.

A few years ago, DonationScout set out to streamline restaurant fundraisers even more with a new ePayments system. We aimed to simplify the payment process with seamless online transactions. However, we discovered that while restaurants wanted online payments, fundraiser organizations preferred traditional checks, despite initially expressing a preference for electronic donations. This aligns with Henry Ford's insight: "If I would have asked people what they wanted, they would have said a faster horse." Often, consumers don’t know what they truly need. This led us to pivot. DonationScout is now acts as an intermediary, allowing restaurants to process payments online, while ensuring fundraiser organizations received physical checks. This experience highlights the importance of iteration in product development.
