This year, Cody elected to donate his $250 to the Friends of Seal Beach National Wildlife Refuge! ? The Refuge’s tidal salt marsh, encompassing 965 acres of the Anaheim Bay estuary, serves as a wildlife sanctuary on an increasingly crowded coast as well as providing a critical migration stopover and wintering habitat for thousands of birds that migrate up and down the Pacific flyway each year. ? Trumark, VCS, and the Juane?o Band of Mission Indians, Acjachemen Nation (Belardes) worked together cooperatively to design and create a plaque honoring the Juane?o ancestors that lived at and near the site and within the Upper Aliso Canyon Archaeological District.
