Our partner Vaxart, Inc. announced the initiation of the sentinel cohort of its Phase 2b clinical trial, which aims to determine the efficacy, safety, and immunogenicity of Vaxart’s oral COVID-19 vaccine candidate compared to a traditional, FDA-approved vaccine. This effort is a part of overarching work supported under #ProjectNextGen to create vaccines that work better than those currently available. Earlier this year, we announced the initial work with Vaxart, along with other partners, to plan and execute multiple Phase 2b clinical trials.
