Decomposition Tree: The Decomposition Tree is my compass for drilling down into data hierarchies and exploring relationships at different levels of granularity. By dissecting complex data into its constituent parts, I'm revealing patterns and trends that may have otherwise gone unnoticed. ?? Power BI Post Series: 30 Days of Power BI Knowledge ?? Day 6: Leveraging AI Features in Power BI ?? Hey LinkedIn family, Welcome to Day 6 of our Power BI journey! Today, we’ll explore how to use Power BI’s built-in AI features to gain deeper insights from your data. ?? Step 1: Using Quick Insights Load your data into Power BI. Click on the Dataset you want to analyze. Select Quick Insights to let Power BI automatically find patterns and insights in your data. Step 2: Key Influencers Visual In Report View, go to the Visualizations Pane. Select the Key Influencers visual. Drag the field you want to analyze (e.g., Sales Amount) to the Analyze field. Drag potential influencing factors (e.g., Region, Product) to the Explain By field. Step 3: Decomposition Tree In Report View, go to the Visualizations Pane. Select the Decomposition Tree visual. Drag the field you want to break down (e.g., Total Sales) to the Analyze field. Add fields to explain the breakdown (e.g., by Region, by Product). Step 4: Using Q&A Click on the Q&A button in the top menu. Type a question about your data (e.g., “What are the total sales by region?”). Power BI will generate a visual based on your question. One thing I love about social media is the fact they provide immediate feedback, no matter the size of your audience. Even if you're comparing 2 vs 4 reactions to a post, that is still 100% increase in engagement. Writing on social media is great way to test your ideas and see what resonates with people in your network. I've recently checked stats on my posts and an interesting pattern emerged: posts which had personal references and components of storytelling did much better than those that didn't. I thought it's an excellent case in point for storytelling in (visual) data analytics: ?? Stories and pictures speak more loudly than numbers and words alone ?? Stories evoke emotions which are in turn remembered more vividly than dry facts ?? Stories help simplify complex information and make it more relatable ?? Companies are increasingly using AI to analyze internal email data without accessing actual email content by detecting topics, sentiments and identifying internal influencers and outsiders, business can understand how communication flows within the company. This report analyzes a total of 1132 emails sent across 9 department from 47 employees with 14 topics.
