AVOID THESE SCAMMERS AT ALL COST. Check was deposited, they suspended my account for 4 days. Even though I've provided all necessary info. Still suspended and can not access funds. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE customer service.

Varo is a scam. My sister, who is a single mother and making minimum wage, got her Varo bank account hacked and all her earnings and savings have been stolen. The business model makes it impossible to get in contact with a real human to help resolve this fraud. We are submitting complaints to the BBB and requesting the attorney general investigates your business practices. This company is taking advantage of people and their money while not offering any customer service or support. My recommendation: do NOT bank with Varo. I hope to get a response from you on how my sister can actually talk to an employee from varo to remedy this fraud and get her money back.

Update: this bank is still a scam. My sister was able to get ahold of a rep on Oct 16 but they were extremely unhelpful. Rep said they would have to suspend her account and open a claim for the fraud prevention, which she has already done through the websites recommended [email protected]. The rep said someone from that department would call her on October 17. Rep said that date several times. It is Oct 18 and no one has called my sister yet. Following the rep saying that they would suspend my sister’s account, she got the text I have attached. Varo needs to remedy and reimburse my sister! DO NOT BANK WITH VARO

48hrs later no communication from you and you’re still holding my money EVEN though all id was verified. Definitely do not use this “bank” try chime, cashapp…he’ll keep it in ur mattress it’d be safer than with varo aka scammers.
