A misplaced screw can be surprisingly costly when it comes to underfloor heating. Unlike competitor products, TorFloor 2 has a pre-routed cover panel, mirroring the print pattern on the panel's surface, which automatically aligns over the pipework. Without this feature, the installer cannot be certain where the pipe is. If installing a chipboard system using printed covers without this locator technology, the installer must line the panels up themselves correctly. This is dangerous as the installer must do this accurately to avoid being liable should anyone subsequently fix through the floor thinking it was safe to do so. The Nexus S136 single cartridge seal is our "Me-Too" slurry seal. Most mechanical seal suppliers need a single cartridge seal that is not just a standard cartridge seal design for process pumps. This type of seal has some features that allows for use in slurry pumps. This design has heavy duty profiled faces to reduce the slurry build-up on the OD of the faces. It has large clearances between stationary and rotary parts, to prevent hang-up due to slurry on atmospheric side. It is a stationary design seal with Monolithic faces (not the stupid inserted faces that some manufacturers still use - the world has moved on from inserted faces). The sleeve is made with nice thick material, it is a slurry seal after all. The Tideflex? Series 35-1 Check Valve features a flat-bottom design and an integral elastomer flange, which allows mounting to flanged outfall pipes or directly to headwalls with flush piping. The Series 35-1 is often a replacement for flanged flapgates. Hinge pins in flapgates rust and corrode if they are not routinely lubricated, causing the flapper to hang open and allow backflow. Small debris that collects in the seating area of the valve will also keep the flapper open. The Series 35-1 has no moving parts that can corrode, warp or freeze. The 35-1 also seals around entrapped solids and debris.
