The V1C Coalition by Digital Medicine Society (DiMe) has expressed our support for including #AdvancedPrimaryCareManagement (APCM) services in the #CMS CY2025 #PhysicianFeeSchedule. This forward-thinking proposal reflects a deep understanding of patients' evolving needs and the nature of healthcare delivery, especially in managing chronic conditions. Integrating digital health technology into chronic care management presents significant opportunities to improve patient outcomes, enhance access to care for rural, underserved, and specialized populations, and drive efficiencies across the healthcare system. By enabling billing for these services, CMS is taking an essential step toward fostering a healthcare environment that uses digital tools to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. We believe this proposal will reduce barriers to care, particularly for underserved and rural populations, and promote a more efficient and effective healthcare system. While we strongly support including APCM services in the Physician Fee Schedule, we provided feedback to CMS to address key concerns in the final rule.
