Bill Brady was one of my first mentors, across 8 years and 3 degrees at UVA. Never once questioned my untraditional path… in fact encouraged me to buck the system as much as possible. Bill taught me many of the ‘intangible lessons’ of Emergency Medicine…. many I recount routinely to my own residents. Bill is a deserving scholar of this prestigious award.
