My polymer REU experiences at Southern Miss (2003 & 2004) helped me land a job after college, and when I felt ready to continue my polymer education, I knew exactly where I wanted to go! The polymer department at USM is well known in the coatings industry, and my connection to it has helped to start conversations & open many doors. To this day, I think fondly on those summers spent in Hattiesburg & in the polymer science building!
