Had a wonderful visit today with CSM Brandt, the U.S. Army Recruiting Command (USAREC) 1st Recruiting Brigade CSM. He was kind enough to help me out with a favor, and we talked about how the USMEPCOM surge of personnel to assist with processing has helped out. The purpose of DAU's credentialing system is to provide DoD Acquisition Professionals with - A) a quick way to gain certifiable expertise in a knowledge area B) a quick way to build relevant expertise in team members, and C) a quick way to find/ take quality classes in acquisition-related topics. Note the usage of the word "quick" in each of the three goals - DAU is aiming to deliver subject-matter-expertise at the speed of relevance! What credential would be of use to YOU?

The ~$50B joint Army ACC-APG and ACC-Rock Island IT and Professional Service Vehicle consolidating RS3 and ITES-3S, MAPS, just released draft sections of L & M. In this instance, responses do support shaping the outcomes of how this is ultimately released. #Army #digitaltransformation

2024 was an amazing year for PEO Enterprise. We came a long way in our digital transformation and agile journey but there is still so much to do. This perspective gives a pretty clear insight as to where our focus points will be to enable to us to deliver more to the solider, faster than we ever did, and as cost effectively as possible.

Read into defining and setting conditions for success. A common theme that battalion and brigade commanders hear at the National Training Center (NTC) is the need to “set conditions”. Setting conditions means making preparations, across all of the warfighting functions, for an upcoming operation. At its core, the difficulty in setting conditions is that each echelon must first define and understand those conditions before they can be “set”. Setting conditions by warfighting function (WfF) and establishing clear triggers for subsequent actions before an operation is one of the most difficult things that staffs and commanders struggle with.
