It's Black History Month, and in honor of the trailblazers who came before us, we wanted to share these four family-friendly events you can attend this month. Shatterin' Rules, Makin' Moves at Austin-Irving Public Library on February 9. This all-ages event is from 1 pm - 4 pm. The History of Chicago Street Dance is on February 13 at Maywood Public Library. The event is from 6:30 pm -8:30 pm. Chicago is truly the birthplace of "All Dance Styles." Chicago Dance lineage is over a century old, and some of the most popular dances either have roots or were and are still created here. Chicago's Music Legacy 2025 is on February 27 This is an in-person event at the Maywood Public Library, and all ages are welcome.
