The irony of living anywhere is that you don't live in a Nation or a State—you Live in a City.
The daily realities of living, commuting, and working in a city are all that matter to young, working professionals.
So Tamil Nadu might be the most industrialised, but how?#Chennai?makes you feel matters.
Gujarat might be the most attractive, but how?#Ahmedabad?treats you when you choose to work there matters.
#Delhi is a city of fixers—it has the government, the defence, and the judiciary all in one place. I will always find it hard to be capitalist-friendly.
#Kolkata is a city lost in its own past mistakes. Unless governance is tackled, it will already be unsuitable for a corporate culture to germinate.
#Mumbai mired in daily life hassles—a city with a glorified past and an unreasonable real estate but with the best work ethic
#Bengaluru?is amongst the best of the lot, with talent being the only saving grace in a city now lost to corruption.
Unless we make cities a hub of culture, talent, and civic infrastructure that is world-class, we will keep trudging along.
