As VM puts together its first official internship for the summer, we've thoughtfully crafted a program that allows the student to learn and grow, not just do tasks. The music industry can be a chaotic and get-it-done type environment, but it's still important to consider the growth of every employee, no matter the level. And just like that… My summer internship at AAA northeast had come to an end. I want to thank Melissa Rae Brancato and the entire E-business department for a profound internship experience. A few takeaways from my internship: 1.) Ask questions! It’s okay to not know everything, but don’t shy away from asking for some clarification or help. The dumbest question is the one not asked. 2.) Be yourself. It can be difficult in a corporate environment, especially as an intern. Opening up has allowed me to further connect with the team and be more comfortable in the workplace. 3.) Your ideas are valued. Companies appreciate intern opinions because they offer a fresh set of eyes and a different perspective for the business. I was told countless times that my team was also learning with me and from me. What a way to wrap up the season! #internship #softwaredevelopment #summer
