Tech Tip of the Day. While our goal is to help expand our customer base, sometimes we find it more important to help spread information, in this case, some that can save lives. This customer is new to CNC routing and shared these photos with us. They'd done a drill process using a compression tool and while the tool will do the job, it can also quickly lead to?fire as it is not the right tool for the job. It is much better to use a ramp in with compression tooling or utilize an entirely different cutter when drilling to ensure the debris is not super-heated. The goal when drilling is to remove the debris as quickly as possible to avoid excessive heat & the risk of fire. ? This is one of the many things we cover in our ShopSabre training course but we felt this lesson today was worth sharing because knowledge is power and regardless of what machine you run, we want you to remain safe! #shopsabre #routersafety #cncrouter #woodworking
