Currently we live in a time of massive institutional failure, collectively creating results that nobody wants. Climate change, hunger, poverty, violence, ecological and spiritual well-being. So, this time calls for a new consciousness and a new collective of leadership capacity to meet challenges in a more conscious, intentional and strategic way. The development of such a capacity will allow us to create a future of greater possibility. Why do our attempts to deal with the challenges of our time so often fail? Why are we stuck in so many quagmires today? The cause of our collective failure is that we are blind to the deeper dimension of leadership and transformational change. This “blind spot” exists not only in our collective leadership but also in our everyday social interactions. We are blind to the source dimension from which effective leadership and social action come into being. So, we should have to tap our collective capacity and illuminating the blind spot.

Hey team, the 3 percenters are once again being stretched. I've been doing this for 45 years and the same percentage of the eligible population are donating as when I first started. Only 3 percent of the eligible population donate blood regularly. What the actual feck is going on here? The numbers are not wrong...but these stats actually suck. 70% of people know someone fighting or who has fought cancer. Yet only 3% of the population roll up a sleeve and donate for their cancer afflicted brothers and sisters. Cancer patients are the largest collective requiring blood and they are desperate in their fight to survive. Money cannot buy what they need, it needs to be donated, from the heart figuratively but from the arm physically. Cancer research is great but they don't need money, they need what money cannot buy and science cannot create....sleeves need to be rolled up and blood donated. They need blood products and they need them now, to continue to fight this horrible disease thaat is threatening their lives and making life a misery for their family and loved ones. When Australian Red Cross Lifeblood put out the call, it is because we, the 3 percenters are not able to cover what is needed. It is such a shame that more people do not get behind their cancer suffering friends and for those who have afflictions that require blood products. C'mon guys and girls, join me. The fight is real and there are many who depend on us who regularly roll up a sleeve....please. I'll beg if I have to...please join me and the other 3 percenters. BLOOD Type MATCHING. "On their surface, red cells have inherited chemical structures called antigens that can cause a person’s immune system to make antibodies against them. Humans have 35 major groups or families of these antigens, as well as other minor groups, but consideration of two, the ABO group and the RhD group, is very important to ensure that a transfusion recipient receives compatible blood. The presence of antigens within these groups is what determines a person’s blood type. Blood types are referred to as Type A, Type B, Type AB (which has both A and B antigens), or Type O (which has neither A or B antigens) followed by positive or negative, which indicates the presence of the RhD antigen.
