Governor Hochul's proposed expansion to the Empire State Child Credit is great, but we can do much better. We support the Working Families Tax Credit #WFTC which would provide up to $1600 for every child, streamline the tax code by including EITC and ITIN filers, and provide a permanent boost to NY families.
