The words “Simple” and “Strategic Plan” are not normally used in the same sentence. Many times nonprofit leaders avoid strategic planning because it feels too complicated or time-consuming. It doesn’t have to be that way! In today's dynamic environment, strategic planning is crucial for nonprofit and ministry leaders seeking to align their efforts with God’s vision. But how do you think biblically, strategically, and simply when it comes to planning, and do you even have the framework to do that? This year's Mission Increase Q4 workshop, “Strategic Planning: Aligning with God’s Mission” demystifies the strategic planning process by breaking it down into simple key components: mission, objectives, strategies, and tactics. This free workshop will equip nonprofit leaders, Executive Directors, board members, ministry staff, and volunteers with the necessary tools and insights to develop robust, agile plans that foster growth and resilience – regardless of your organization’s size or complexity. All are welcome, including those with a plan and those yet to create one. Register yourself and your team today for a free workshop in Alabama! ? https://lnkd.in/dPNywERH ? Starting a scholarship can be one of the most impactful ways to empower individuals and support education. But where do you begin? Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you navigate the process: 1. Define your intent: What’s the purpose of the scholarship? Who do you want to help? Clarifying your goals is key! 2. Choose your approach: Do you want to manage the scholarship directly or partner with an existing entity? 3. Create an operational plan: Plan out the details: marketing, application process, criteria, and follow-up. 4. Pilot your program: Start small, test your processes, and make adjustments before going big! 5. Review and adjust: Gather feedback, evaluate results, and refine your program for greater impact. Scholarships don’t just provide financial support—they create opportunities that last a lifetime. Ready to make an impact? Read our latest post for a detailed guide on how to get started with your own scholarship! https://lnkd.in/eHZ9FSHK #Philanthropy #Scholarships #Education #GivingBack #NonProfit #Impact

What new knowledge have you picked up lately? Children are natural lifelong learners. They ask questions, put themselves out there, and are ready for a new challenge. My goal is to be like them. This week, I had the opportunity to attend a class at Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. Thank you to Christy Boysen, MA, CFRM, FCEP Hal Abrams, for facilitating a great three days. I have lots of new knowledge! #keeplearning #trynewthings #continuousimprovement

I love to see new tools/resources that allow transfer to be a less painful process. I have to check this out. You should too! Let me know what you think.
Did you hear? Ithaka S+R is launching a new, public, nonprofit, national credit mobility website. This universal credit transfer explorer will go live later this year with data from an inaugural set of institutions across three states, thanks to collaborations with the Connecticut State Colleges & Universities, the SC Commission on Higher Education, and the Washington Student Achievement Council (WSAC). This season of giving, we need YOU! As alumni leaders at the Ted Rogers School of Management, we're using our voice to address a critical issue - food insecurity among our current TRSM students. Many students struggle to put food on the table after covering tuition and other expenses, and your support can make a difference. As alumni, we know the challenges of student life—-balancing jobs, expenses, and academics. Now, imagine if a small act of generosity could ease that burden for someone who shares our dreams but faces financial obstacles. Join us this season of giving. A $5 contribution can provide a meal for a TRSM student in need. Together, let's ensure that only hungry minds enter the classroom.
