At the Net Zero Market Pavillion in #Stavanger during the #ONS I was amazed with the non-mentioning of #thermal #energy. It literally is all about electricity (and #hydrogen with all colors). I sincerely hope we all know that 50% of the world′s #energy consumption is for #heating & #cooling, but what probably is less known is that almost 90% of that consumption is sourced from fossil fuels. There will be no advancement of ′1,5 degrees pathways′ or ′reaching Net Zero Markets′ if our friends in the Oil & Gas Industry are not massively embracing the double digit returns of Heating & Cooling Assets with #geothermal. We have one member in the 100GW thermal Club. It′s #China. Why? Because they take action and capitalize on the #gigantic source we all stand on. Triple up, Drill Down. It′s #Time4Action.
