Very Excited to share- Our team (NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration and IBM) released a Foundation Model (Prithvi WxC) for Weather and Climate. Prithvi WxC - An open-source foundation model of a 2.3 billion-parameter model, trained on 160 atmospheric variables from NASA's MERRA-2 dataset that can be customized for a variety of weather and climate-related applications.
