Words Of Affirmation (and Appreciation) Like many of you can relate, unemployment due to the financial health of the organization for which you work can be very difficult to endure - especially having done so twice with two different organizations within an (18) month period. Yet, when we do land on our feet, it can be a sweeter experience than had we NOT suffered in the first place. I count it a blessing to have been working with Tech Castings LLC for the past 3-1/2 years, and this past week was particularly fun for me. We had a sizable project we were all working to get into the end zone and I do feel like we won! The trust the owners have for me, the value they place on my abilities and the fact I'm allowed to pull from nearly every single professional aspect of my several different disciplines from the past... well, it's just plain fun for me. Sure, we have tough days like anyone else, but the resonance I've found with everyone here, the way we all find a way to trust each other and to 'get it done', it makes me tear up a little bit at times from the overwhelming sense of gratitude. I'm not going to call him out by name because I don't want to embarrass him - when he reads this, he'll know.
