Knowing your dog means that you empathise with him and try to see the world from his point of view and not your projection of him. Projection is something we do naturally and way more than is particularly healthy. We look at a stranger and decide how they feel, when we disagree with someone and things get heated, we decide how they feel – often without any evidence or communication. We can look at our dogs and decide that their fear is naughtiness, their stress is because they are feeling obnoxious or their confusion ignorance. Even whilst none of these are true, they certainly make us feel differently about the dog and his behaviour. https://lnkd.in/eGWQUjm5 #onlinedogcourse #dogbehaviour #dogtraining #ethicaldogtraining

Do this several times, each time a little bit longer. What you're telling your dog is that you always come back. So his anxiety over being abandoned or being afraid should begin to disappear. Many times your dog is just lonely. When you and your family leave the house for the day, the silence is deafening. So he will look for other ways to break the stillness. Barking is his first instinct. He may think that barking will bring him some attention. If he has nothing else to do this might work for him. In this case, scatter his favorite toys around. Buy him some chew toys or something else to keep him busy. One of the most important things you can do to stop your dog from barking is exercise. If he knows that when you get home it's play time, he has something to look forward to that he can count on. Normal exercise time for a dog is 30-45 minutes a day. If he is a bigger dog make that twice a day.

Positive reinforcement is a great way to train dogs, and using praise and treats can encourage good behavior. Here are some tips: 1. Be consistent with rewards and praise. 2. Use specific commands and hand signals. 3. Start with simple tasks and gradually increase difficulty. 4. Be patient and calm, as dogs sense energy and emotions. 5. Use positive language, like "good boy" or "good girl," and avoid scolding. Remember, every dog is unique, so adjust your approach to suit their needs and personality. With time and practice, you'll have a well-behaved and happy furry friend! Follow me Muhammad Imran
