Download the fifth edition of our EV Charging Index here: ? https://lnkd.in/dcKN8xAP Curious to know how the #Netherlands scored in EV penetration, policy, infrastructure, and market dynamics????? Our latest EV Charging Index shows mixed global trends, but the Netherlands remains one of the global leaders. Despite challenges like high energy costs and reduced subsidies, the Dutch #EVmarket is thriving. Our key findings: ?? Sales penetration: Increased from 37% in 2022 to 44% in 2023, compared to the global average of 20%. ?? Tax incentives: Still crucial, despite being less generous. ?? Urban incentives: Low- and zero-emission zones boost commercial EV use. ??Corporate adoption: Many companies now offer only EVs to employees. Infrastructure is catching up, with rising fast #DCcharging improving customer satisfaction, although finding the right locations and the energy grid’s limited capacity remain a challenge. While global growth varies, with China leading and some established markets slowing, the Netherlands' compact geography and strategic policies ensure continued progress. #RolandBerger #ElectricVehicles #Sustainability #EVCharging #Innovation
