With the conclusion of Cisco Live EMEA, our team recently open-sourced a small repository along with the presentation that makes creating your RAG system easy with a Local LLM without the need for external libraries such as Langchain and LLamaIndex. The repository provides a small, simplified, and scaled-down version of the technology we're developing for data center products and is dockerized for easy deployment. Working on these videos has been the highlight of my career. Here's why: ? Meeting advocates in person is a few and far-between privilege. So being able to spend a couple of hours chatting and generally pampering them was absolute ?? . (AKA - the reason I do this job) ? Customer video content is more and more challenging to co-ordinate and produce. So seeing the finished product gives me great pride. (AKA - beating the 'do more with less' market) ? Working with the awesome BIONIC GIANT created an environment that allowed our advocates to feel comfortable sharing their stories and, I think you will all agree, showcase those stories in style. (AKA - trusted partner relationships) If you are in the data world, do take some time to absorb Suman's story as she is a true visionary in this field, as well as being a role model to me. Anyone else have career highlights that give them all the feels? ?? #dataengineering #customeradvocacy
