This is a classic example of how people are being manipulated and lied to. In this study the author tests blood flow to the portion of our brains that deal with reasoning and logic when people are under stress. Although the author of the study blames high fat as the culprit for decreasing blood flow, the participants were fed a croissant!!!! Croissants (for those of you who don't know) are not a pure source of fat. They are actually a high source of sugar!! Why wasn't a simple carbohydrate, glucose spikes, insulin spikes or highly processed foods to blame? The title and conclusion are very misleading to say the least. Although this looks like "science", this article is highly misleading. Most people read posts like these and think they are true, when they are not. As a result, people think they know about nutrition, even though 90% of what is out on the internet is wrong. Want qualified advice that will get you to your health goals? Want to cut through the noise and know the truth?
