I guess my approach is wrong while hiring interns or maybe I give an opportunity to join a company as per their match. As when hiring interns, I never reject them, I ask them to take your time, make a comparison and then let me know your decision. In any ways they land a good opportunity. #hiring

Are you struggling to stand out in job applications in this market? As someone on the inside, let me share some general best practices for a successful job search. First, make sure you meet the required qualifications listed in the job description, including the years of paid, post-graduate professional experience. Unpaid internships and years in school typically do not count towards this requirement. Second, ensure that you currently hold a similar level and responsibilities for the job you are applying for. Applying for a Senior Software Engineer position as an intern won't land you the job. Third, tailor your resume for each role you apply for. Take the extra time to include relevant information that matches the job requirements. Make it easy for the recruiter or hiring manager to choose you by getting the right information on that resume. Fourth, utilize your network. Networking can help you discover new opportunities and potentially provide a referral or opportunity to “pull your resume out of the pile.” Finally, set up job alerts on the company careers sites for the companies you are targeting. This way, you can be the first to know when new jobs open up and be in the first batch of candidates' resumes reviewed for the role. Remember, timing is everything. I hope these tips are helpful! Business is a funny old game... Last week we had just finished interviewing the final two candidates for our Summer Intern position then we were right into being shown around potential new office space ?? I felt a little overwhelmed... For the first time, really, in my career, I felt what could be called "imposter syndrome" (yes I hate that term, too) ?? Walking around new fancy office buildings after hiring an intern with that tiny doubt in your mind saying "You don't fit in here"... In the next few months, we're: ? - Hiring an intern with a view to a permanent role and becoming a team of 4 ? - Growing our client base ? - Adding a new "DocsDrop" service ? - Supporting new software ? - Getting an office Don't get me wrong, it's all exciting but I'm not afraid to admit this: It's also a tiny bit scary ?? I know the truth is though as business owners we DESERVE everything we have - whatever that is and whatever success looks like to you. We EARNED it ??
