We're currently working with local farms to plant trees on their land. Agroforestry is a way of managing land where trees, livestock and/or crops are raised together to diversify and/or increase production. Planting orchards on farms also promotes biodiversity and food production. Watch this short video with Lucy at Barfoots Farm about why they believe trees on farms is important. The ultimate goal is to help the valorisation and the promotion of varieties that are more adapted to sustainable management practices, and more resilient to climate change.
