Impact Environmental can measure all source area excavation, stockpiles, treatment and cap placement from the digital surface model our drone flights produce. This is done by routine automated drone fly-overs that capture the work as it progresses. The drone technology is fitted with GPS and Lidar scanning to produce this highly accurate digital surface model (DSM) mapped with elevations and other features of interest. There have been crucial updates in effect for PFAS limits based on EPA's PFAS Drinking Water Maximum Contaminant Level final rule. The new limits set by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) are significantly lower, requiring almost non-detect levels to pass. Specific limits include: ?? Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA): 4.0 ng/L (20x total limit: 0.08 ppb) ?? Perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS): 4.0 ng/L (20x total limit: 0.08 ppb) ?? Perfluorohexane sulfonic acid (PFHxS): 10 ng/L (20x total limit: 0.2 ppb) ?? Perfluorononanoic acid (PFNA): 10 ng/L (20x total limit: 0.2 ppb) ??
