Today, the Yellowhead School launched an online course - Landback - an open access online course about the ways Canada dispossesses Indigenous people of the land -- and the strategies communities are using to get it back. I am looking forward to broadening my understanding of Landback and of what a just future looks like. Our aim is to inspire physical, emotional, and creative growth, prioritizing reducing anxieties to support re-engagement with education. 85% show reduced anxieties within 12 weeks, raising to 95% by six months for those staying longer. ? In the year ending July 2023, 81% progressed in a way suitable for their capabilities; from returning to education to gaining qualifications. ? Support for young people over 16 with learning disabilities is longer term and we have a 96% retention rate." ?
