Working with Quacks: Bridging the Gap in Rural Healthcare We actually work with quacks! Yes, you read it right, we sometimes have to work with quacks and there is a reason for it. In remote villages where access to doctors is scarce, quacks often serve as the only available healthcare providers. While their qualifications may be limited, their role in these communities is undeniable. They are the first responders, managing common ailments and emergencies with whatever knowledge they possess. Instead of dismissing them, we’ve realized that educating and empowering these quacks can make a significant impact. By training them to recognize medical emergencies and quickly refer patients to larger hospitals, we are helping improve healthcare outcomes where organized medical services are non-existent. It’s a challenging but necessary approach to bridge the gap in rural healthcare and save lives. #RuralHealthcare #HealthcareAccess #CommunityHealth #MedicalEducation #PatientCare #DrGoodDeed

Saving Lives, Serving Our Communities - our new five-year strategy ?? An increase in partnership working, and the introduction of an initial further five clinical hubs are key to SECAmb delivering on our new five-year strategy. ?? The clinically-led strategy also sets out our commitment to embrace new technologies as we transition from a predominantly ambulance-based response model to a more differentiated approach, where the type of response is tailored to the individual needs of the patient. ?? The strategy sets out our three main strategic aims - delivering high-quality care; ensuring people enjoy working at SECAmb, and being a sustainable partner within an integrated NHS. ?? It also outlines our new values – Kindness, Courage and Integrity – developed by and with our people, as the principles which should guide all actions and behaviours and how we deliver our services to our patients.
