In celebration of National Women's History Month, we are extremely grateful for the dedication and milestones achieved by those who came before us, paving the way for future generations. Let us also honor the incredible potential of every little girl, who from the moment of birth, carries within her the seeds of ambition and dreams. Yet, as they grow, many face challenges that can hinder their aspirations. Our CEO Trina Montemayor's grandmother (pictured below) was a remarkably strong woman and registered nurse who dedicated her last working years to the psychiatric ward of Cook County Jail. There, she managed the medication routines of inmates with unwavering strength. Having been a tough cookie and on her own from a very young age, she exemplified resilience and compassion and set examples for many. Let us commit to supporting the women in our lives—their dreams, their journeys, and their successes. Together, we can empower future generations to achieve their fullest potential.
