True depiction of the struggles faced while searching for a job opportunity, by Elmo. It's a full time, remote job searching effortlessly for an opportunity. The amount of time and energy put into applying, scheduling interviews, corresponding in numerous emails, following up, without any tangible incentives or the common courtesy of a call back, while rent is due and bills pile up, hustling to make mere pennies work together to survive. It can be overwhelming, and overstimulating, reading through numerous epistles of company or organizational rhetoric, mission statements, qualifications and requirements. All hell if your ability to speak another language is rusty, you're literally screwed, say goodbye to that bilingual position that you have the experience and capacity to work in that said position. Trying to find a suitable match with all credentials and experience listed, but not having the required degree, despite having the experience. Possession of a Bachelors to hear you're not experienced enough, and too experienced to hear you're over qualified. Going through an entire application process of attaching a resume, and for some a cover letter. Answering personal questions in demographics about sexual preference, and ethnicity. Seems you're looking for more than a job after answering the questions. Then, submitting the said application that states they don't discriminate disabilities, by standard of ADA. Only to come out fighting for your life and mental health trying to convince someone to accept you. Receiving well articulated rejection emails, after an awesome interview. Shadowing for an hour for an on-site interview, afterwards requested references, with no follow up. Confusing as it maybe, starting the process all over again, day in and day out. The expletives maybe offensive, however, the sentiments are accurate. https://lnkd.in/eYbaepqF

How to Explain Leaving My Job in an Admin Interview? Answers: https://lnkd.in/gfZ_Vs35 #JobInterview #CareerChange #HealthChallenges Hey there! ?? So, you're gearing up for an interview, and it's completely understandable to feel a bit anxious about explaining why you left your previous job. Let's break it down and find a way to present your situation confidently! First off, it's important to be honest but tactful about your past. Here’s a way to frame your response: Focus on Your Health: You might say something like, "I was looking to pursue a career where I could better manage my health. I realized that the physical demands of being an optician posed challenges for me, especially given my recent health issues." This shows you're aware of your needs while also highlighting your proactive approach. Emphasize Your Skills: Next, clarify why the admin role suits you. You can mention your relevant skills and how you want to bring your background in optometry to enhance the experience of patients. For example, "While my background is in optometry, I believe my expertise will make me a valuable asset in an administrative role at an eye clinic." Career Change: Just like ...

?? FIRST WEEK OF JUNE ?? Beware, incoming 'look how amazing I am post' ?? The weekly ritual of reflecting on life's triumphs and... well, let's call them "learning experiences." It's like a mental inventory check where you find out if you've collected more gold stars or facepalms. And let's not forget the "ME time" calculation – because after a week of adulting, you've earned some serious couch potato points! ??Created a recruitment review? Check! Next step: resizing the office door to accommodate my growing head! ?? ?? Cutting down on V energy drinks? Check! That's like a superhero giving up their powers! I deserve a cape for that achievement alone! ?? ?? Only 5 interviews this week? The interview rollercoaster took a detour through snoozeville this week, with only five passengers on board!?But hey, quality over quantity ??♀? And camping to top it off? That's the perfect way to recharge! The only spreadsheets I'll be dealing with this weekend are the ones under the stars? Enjoy your weekend! #recruiter #waroona #perth #recrutiment #weekupdate

We recently talked about the ability to use multi-posting on Wiggli to publish your job offer or mission on multiple job boards at once (and therefore save a lot of time in your already busy days) ???. You are used to posting on multiple platforms (often paid) but don't monitor where your Vacancy/Mission performs best ? Put an end to unnecessary costs and optimize your spending by only using the job boards where your vacancy/mission has proven its success... a big sorting out is needed! ?? To do this, it's easy: go to the "Performance" tab - no need to be an expert in analysis to find your way around - you will easily see which channels are effective for your Vacancy/Mission and which are a little (much?) less so. What is sure is that you will love this tab ??! Curious to discover all the features of Wiggli? Request your demo! ?? #recruitement #job #performance

A great read! Although I'm not keen on the phrase 'working mums' -Dad's are rarely referred to as 'working Dads'... First time I'd heard the phrase 'sticky floor' (my first thought was a grimy nightclub floor ??). It's where people are stuck in a job that no longer suits them, as they feel they won't be able to get the same flexible working pattern elsewhere. What could be done to help? I feel that where a job can be done flexibly it would be great to: 1. Include more imaginative and engaging text in the job advert to demonstrate the types of flexibility that might be available. A lot of job adverts use standard text...why not link to real life case studies? 2. Include job adverts on job boards such as Flexa, as a lot of the big name job websites don't have sufficient filters for people to be specific about the types of flexibility they may be looking for. Any other ideas?

M.Optom PRACTICE LICENSE : MOH OMAN /Since Sept 2015, UPSFM INDIA /Since April 2010 Eye care and Contact lenses Practitioner [email protected]
Dear Optometrist?? Are you searching for the Job? Please check the actions listed below. 1. Introduction (It's a major portion, and the interviewer is interested in learning about your upbringing and output. Your experience, ability, flexibility, extra capabilities, and language skills are all immediately discernible to them.) 2. Patients care (This is the most crucial section, when the interviewer will assess your ability to manage and provide patient care. It's a business, too, therefore treat the patient like a customer and respect their rights.) 3. Examination (All optometrists are knowledgeable about the process, and I have the utmost respect for them all. However, as soon as the patient enters the room, you should greet them politely and smile. To get some knowledge and an idea of their purchasing power, examine and identify the products (SPECS) based on their previous glass) 4. Knowledge (You must address the patient's or customer's questions on their ailments and provide clarification on the specifics of the product. The interviewer will learn about your knowledge by listening to your responses. You must familiarize yourself with the lenses and the dispensing procedure.) 5. Expectations (It is based on both your experience and performance. You have to show off your skills and abilities. If they refuse to give you the salry you demand. Say something like, "My knowledge, experience, and ability to sell the products prevent me from joining with this much salary." As long as I can manage to achieve my objectives and maintain my self-assurance and standards,".) 6. Conclusions: (Say thanking to everyone to give an opportunity to attend the interview) Note: It has taken us 4.5 years of struggle to obtain the qualification. Why should you stand to someone to bargain for yourself when we didn't bargain to anyone to get that? So maintain your skills, knowledge and wait for your right moment to achieve your goals????

?? Happy National BagelFest Day! ?? Ok, I know what you're thinking. Bagels and recruitment? ?? Bear with me... ?? I'm someone who likes a bit of consistency in life. I hate nasty surprises, especially when it comes to lunch! Call me weird and boring (and my colleagues do. Repeatedly) for having the same lunch each day but I like knowing exactly how long it takes to prepare and eat (which isn't long in my case ??), as well as its nutritional value and that it's going to fill me up and keep me going. Now, isn't that what you want from your recruiter? Someone who truly gets you, knows exactly how you work, what you're looking for, and never lets you down? ?? I mean look at it, a bready, eggy, saucy delight - who wouldn't want that every day? So, if you're looking for someone who will provide that same level of reliability and comfort to your recruitment needs, then reach out, let me be your bagel! ?? https://lnkd.in/e4Ata4NS ?? 07540 127815 ??
