2023 was a big year for me personally. My wife and I welcomed our second child into the world, and I took the helm as PA’s CEO.? ? The birth of a child certainly puts things into perspective, provides a moment of introspection like no other – a chance to really reflect on what matters. ? I’ve worked at PA for over six years. Our purpose has always been to build a positive human future. But last year, the importance of the work took on renewed significance. I suppose that’s the natural consequence of wanting more than ever to leave the world in a better place than I found it. Which is why I’m so proud to lead the PA team. And to share our just-published 2023 Ingenuity Review.? ? It’s a window into the incredible efforts of our people who – in partnership with our clients – are creating opportunity from the increasingly complex world we find ourselves in. Delivering technology-enabled real-world innovation every day. ? Like our?design and medical specialists who created?a new-to-world neurotechnology?that received Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance in the US, ready to save lives, our digital and sustainability experts who helped one of the world’s busiest airports to assess and plan?for transformative approaches to reducing its carbon footprint?and our defence and security experts who collaborated with the global defence industry on a massive effort to?keep our troops safe?from radio-controlled threats.? ? Just three examples with so many more to be proud of.? ? Let’s be clear: it was a challenging year. Political, economic, and environmental uncertainty impacted our clients and businesses like ours. And yet we stuck to our convictions, and with purpose as our guide, delivered insight and impact.? ? A massive thank you to our people for being such fantastic colleagues; our clients for putting your trust in us; and our communities for being stellar partners.? ?
