While I agree in principle with what he is doing, one has to ask a question with an easy answer. And that answer leads you to the real problem. Corporations, just like us working stiff consumers, are suffering the double digit inflation. Now they have the luxury of sending manufacturing abroad, to try and stay competitive with the onslaught of foreign imports. I’m going to say this again as I have many times before. Until he abolishes The Federal Reserve Act, returns us to sound, monetary policy, preferably backed by precious metals, corporations are going to continue to send manufacturing abroad. With the amount of Monopoly money The Federal Reserve has printed in the last 100 years, if we were returned to the gold standard, an ounce of gold would be worth well north of $10,000. The problem is that China holds the majority of our debt. The other problem is if we went back on the gold standard, those trillions of worthless dollars would come pouring back into the United States. Raising tariffs on imports does shift some of the inflation abroad, and is a good first step. The follow through is the abolition of The Federal Reserve and reinstating The Coinage Act of the 1800s and returning the issuance of currency back to Congress, as laid out in the Constitution. We CANNOT let them abolish money/currency altogether in favor of a “digital” dollar. If that happens along with the attacks on the First and Second Amendments, our freedoms are gone and our grandchildren will grow up penniless on the Continent our Founding Fathers fought and died for. Get out in November and vote.

Sona BLW in Talks to Acquire Escorts Kubota's Rail Business ???? Auto components maker Sona BLW Precision Forgings is reportedly in advanced talks to acquire the rail engineering business of Escorts Kubota in a deal valued at ?2,000 crore, according to a report from CNBC-TV18. To fund the acquisition, Sona BLW is looking to launch a ?2,000 crore Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP). Buoyed by the news, shares of Sona BLW recovered from the day's lows and jumped into the green, 2% up now. Escorts Kubota's railways business reported revenue of ?950 crore for FY24, contributing 11% to the company’s overall topline as of the June quarter. Previously, reports suggested that Escorts was in talks with Knorr-Bremse Group to sell its railway business for over ?4,000 crore, but the deal likely fell through due to valuation concerns. What is a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP)? ?? A Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) is a fundraising tool primarily used by listed companies in India to raise capital by issuing equity shares, fully or partly convertible debentures, or any other securities, excluding warrants, to qualified institutional buyers (QIBs). I see a lot of folks up in arms about John Deere moving skid steer & compact loader production to Mexico. What I see is, market dynamics Those 2 construction equipment market segments are saturated & low cost (mostly) Chinese machines are rapidly gaining market share which hurts John Deere’s profitability in that business. Don’t be shocked if more companies in this market segment shift production or even exit the market. John Deere made a business decision, it may not be a popular one but (and this is gonna sting a little), People, stop chasing the lowest price! Had more contractors & other buyers chose to buy American made and refused to buy cheaper foreign brands John Deere (& it’s US employees) would have probably kept producing them here in IA. Here’s a pricing comparison (btw similar models): Takeuchi: $87,000 Kioti: $70,000 John Deere: $135,000 Which one would I buy (based on price alone)? I’d say probably the Kioti but I know a lot of folks that speak highly of the Takeuchi skid steers so maybe I’d go that route. What do we actually own (3 of): Bobcat Why? Because our local dealer has been outstanding in supporting us. Stop buying the price folks, buy the product & support. Buy American built, from US based companies to support our economy. I know it’s not easy to do these days but do your homework and you’ll find a few good choices out there that help your fellow Americans & the US economy more than they help foreigners.
