We need more relevant models like this in our education system to support our young people acquire the skills (and experiences) they need to make more informed career choices while developing the critical skills they need to succeed in the workplace #education #careerready #workexperience
We are excited to be partnering with Greater Manchester Combined Authority on the Greater Manchester Baccalaureate (#MBacc), supporting young people with two weeks’ worth of #WorkExperience. High quality work experience helps young people get ready for the world of work, but too many young people are missing out. equalex is a new approach, that sits alongside other proven activity, designed to support two weeks' worth of high-quality work experience for every young person. The equalex model ensures experiences build on each other throughout a young person’s time in education. We are piloting the approach in Greater Manchester, following today’s MBacc launch and our ambition is to see the #equalex model adopted across the country. We are looking forward to working with partners to test and scale the approach. Learn more about equalex ?? https://bit.ly/3WiegHW
Absolutely agree. Integrating relevant models in education can bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world application, making students more career-ready. How do you think schools can best implement these models to ensure they are effective?
