What a great travel season this fall! I had the opportunity to share information about the Case Western Reserve University School of Law all over the country, including schools in Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Wisconsin, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Virginia, and more. What I have learned from my conversations with prospective students are that they are so passionate about pursuing careers as lawyers and about advocating for clients. Hawai'i attorneys (and anyone else who is interested)! Get CLEs (including in ethics) on March 30th, either in person or remotely. Asia Pacific Law and Policy Journal is turning 25(!) and is holding a symposium covering a range of topics by APLPJ alumni, including the need for attorneys in Palau and my topic (the 4:30 pm slot) on Financial Action Task Force anti-money laundering and counter terrorism financing standards, expectation of attorney compliance globally and attorney concerns about confidentiality, and current activities to comply with the standards in both the U.S. and Palau.
