Entering international markets, provides these producers with access to new opportunities and better income. It allows them to command fair prices for their high-quality, sustainably harvested products, which is often not possible in local markets. Moreover, the technical support from the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation and Sierra y Selva Exportadora in obtaining organic and fair trade certifications enhances the marketability and credibility of their products. This integration into global markets also empowers these small-scale producers, giving them a voice and a stake in the global economy. It fosters a sense of pride and accomplishment and encourages them to continue their sustainable practices. Ultimately, it creates a positive feedback loop where economic benefits support further conservation efforts, leading to a healthier environment and a more sustainable future for all.

El Ministerio de Desarrollo Agrario y Riego, a través de Sierra y Selva Exportadora, brindó acompa?amiento técnico en la tramitación del Certificado de Origen del producto y en la obtención de las certificaciones Orgánica y de Comercio Justo.

?? Hemos comenzado con la siembra de Alhendín Alhendín es nuestro primer proyecto #agrovoltaico en Espa?a que combina la generación de #energíasolar con la producción agrícola. La distancia entre las diferentes hileras permite el paso de maquinaria agrícola y los módulos recogen el agua de lluvia que se utiliza para el riego. De esta manera, se reduce el riesgo de sequía. La explotación estará dedicada a forraje para uso ganadero y el terreno agrícola no requerirá de uso de fertilizantes evitando así el uso de sustancias químicas. ?? En los próximos meses comenzaremos con la siembra de la pantalla vegetal. Una acción más que sumamos dentro de las medidas medioambientales que estamos implementando en el territorio de la mano de VELUX y la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid

?? World Octopus Day is not just a day of celebration but also a call to action. It's the right time to sign a petition to halt the plans for octopus farming in Spain. Despite being one of nature's wonders, with eight legs, three hearts, and nine brains, they are fished and are eaten worldwide. Since they are solitary creatures, successfully farming them has been impossible. However, according to Compassion in World Farming, the Spanish government is developing an octopus farm and has spent over €9 million of taxpayers' money to finance the captive breeding of these cephalopods. For those who like to eat octopus, this is not natural. Intensive farming reduces complex organisms to simple meat products. We do it with cows, pigs, chickens, and fish in industrial animal agriculture, which is one of the biggest drivers of the destruction of nature.
