This involved allocation, development, and protection of the workforce, aiming to establish a foundation and promote employer-employee relationships. Can Government official go for strike It is defined in Kameshwar Singh Vs State Of Bihar Case In this case the new rule section 4-A is added in Government servants conduct rule 1957. where it prohibiting the government officials to participate in any demonstration and strikes related to there matter of service. Then the appellant means files a Application under 226 of Indian constitution in the high court that this rule was violated there fundamental right under article 19 (1) a,b & c of the constitution. The appellant was aggrieved by the decision on high court .so they filled a appeal before the supreme court of india . The sc court give the decision the rule 4-A was violations of the fundamental right so it's unconstitutional and the court observed that right to strike is not a fundamental right . Do workers have right to strike..? Yes worker have the right to strike under the industrial dispute act 1947. The legal right to strike gives the worker the right to peacefully demonstration and strikes. How ever the government employees doesn't have statutory right to strike .
