92,300 diapers. ?? That's how many Stepping Stone, https://buff.ly/3WEphTP, has distributed to families in need in just the first half of 2024. That's more than DOUBLE the amount from the same period last year! And here's the thing: demand continues to skyrocket. More and more families struggle to afford this basic necessity for their little ones. So, we're stepping up to help! Core Real Estate Partners is hosting our first-ever diaper and pull-up drive to support Stepping Stone's incredible mission. And that's not all! Most people’s understanding of addiction is wrong. Addiction is about poverty. It’s about trauma. It’s about children not being kept safe when they should have been. It’s about discrimination of already marginalised people. For many, it’s an adaptive response to the horrors of what life has served them. When people who want help for their alcohol and drug use come to First Step, we welcome them with love and care. And then wrap around them a team of GPs, nurses, psychologists, psycho-social workers, nurse practitioners, case workers, mental health nurses and lawyers. One team. For free. At one site. We are the only service of this kind in Australia, however receive NO state government funding for the delivery of our health service. Today is our annual fundraising day and three big-hearted donors are going to match every donation that comes in today.
