What does “better access” to care really mean? And how can it improve life expectancy by ???… Access by definition means: “freedom or ability to obtain or make use of something.” (Per Merriam-Webster Inc.’s online dictionary, definition ‘b.’) ?? So if we want to “make better” someone’s freedom or ability to use healthcare we need to remove barriers and obstacles ??? Obstacles like: ?? health plan literacy ?? geographic proximity to care ?? time to receive care ?? financial means ?? If we are able to construct health plans that: ? educate well; simplify, bring clarity ? bring care onsite/near site ? offer $0 primary care Would people use the care when needed? More proactively? Could we catch diagnosis and conditions sooner? Will that lead to longer life expectancy… I think so! Let’s go! #healthliteracy #accesstocare #financialstress #betteraccess #ceo #cfo #hr

In recent years I have had to take on significant and challenging caring responsibilities. Amidst the stress of it all there are skills I have learnt through my caregiving that I know benefit my employer. While AI is running into all our workplaces and we are scrambling to both keep up and harness its strengths it will not teach us how to #care.
