Do you think that in 2025 the world really needs one more… ? undifferentiated creative agency ? undifferentiated 3D animation shop providing "creative excellence" ? undifferentiated motion design team "elevating your brand with exciting visuals"? Wake up. It doesn't. The industry matured. The creative chops are not enough. The reel itself won't cut it. You need: ? A differentiated, market-relevant value proposition ? Transition from execution-only to consultative model ? A modern sales/marketing/bizdev team ? Systems in place for your ops ? A fair bit of luck and resilience In my perspective, 2025 is bringing a small uptick in business opportunity. But the list of creative companies closing down is and will be growing. (Comment "Closures" and I'll share it with you). Want to work with me instead of reinventing the wheel in 2025? Always open to talk.

5000+ Midjourney images helped shape the new Travis Scott x Nike commercial—watch the video to see it in action. Gen AI is a tool, a superpower, for creatives. It is not here to take your job, the question is rather how you can utilize it to evolve. The artist Jak Bannon worked on the latest, awesome, commercial for Travis Scott and Nike. He later released that he created 5000+ Midjourney images in order to help with moodboards, storyboards and aesthetic decisions. You can imagine this created quiet the uproar on the web so he later added a great statement: “Want to make clear: Al is a marvelous tool for exploring ideas and digging deeper into what's possible. It can also trigger new ideas and help concepts expand ...but this spot wouldn't of been possible without the amazing execution and craft from the VFX teams we had on board. there's so many new ways for ideas to be curated and come alive, now it's really just on the ability to execute them!” It is the combination of technology and people that bring awesome stuff to life. Go unlock your superpowers in 2025!

"Key VFX Supervisor Set Essentials"::- A VFX Supervisor plays a crucial role on a film set, ensuring that visual effects (VFX) elements are seamlessly integrated into the final production. 1. Pre-Visualization and Planning: - Ensure that VFX shots are pre-visualized (pre-vis) to guide the shoot. - Collaborate with the director, cinematographer, and production designer to understand the vision and plan accordingly. 2. Camera and Lighting: - Ensure consistent lighting for VFX shots to match CG elements with live-action footage. - Track camera movements precisely to enable accurate CGI integration in post-production. 3. On-Set Data Collection: - Capture reference data, including HDRI (High Dynamic Range Imaging) for lighting, texture references, and measurements. - Use LIDAR scans, photogrammetry, or set surveys to document the environment for later use in VFX. 4. Green/Blue Screen Considerations: - Ensure proper setup of green/blue screens, including even lighting and sufficient separation between the screen and the actors. - Monitor for shadows, reflections, or spill, which could complicate compositing. 5. Tracking Markers: - Place tracking markers in appropriate locations to assist in motion tracking during post-production. - Ensure markers are visible and spaced correctly for effective tracking. 6. Interaction with Practical Effects: - Coordinate with the practical effects team to ensure that physical effects like explosions, wind, or debris will blend seamlessly with digital effects. - Monitor the interaction between actors and any practical effects that will be enhanced or replaced by VFX. 7. Continuity and Consistency: - Ensure continuity in VFX-heavy sequences, especially in terms of character positions, props, and lighting conditions across different shots or takes. - Take detailed notes on VFX requirements for each shot, including camera settings, lens information, and other relevant data. 8. Communication with the Crew: - Act as a bridge between the VFX team and other departments, ensuring everyone is aligned on the VFX requirements. - Communicate clearly with the director to ensure the VFX vision aligns with the overall creative direction. 9. Budget and Time Management: - Keep the VFX needs within the allocated budget and schedule, making decisions on set that balance creativity with practicality. - Ensure that any on-set adjustments or reshoots required for VFX are feasible within the production’s constraints. 10. Problem Solving: - Be prepared to address unexpected challenges on set, such as lighting changes or actor performances that might affect VFX. - Offer creative solutions that maintain the visual integrity of the film while meeting production demands. #sirdadasahebphalkefilms #quantumframeworks #informatica #vfx #vfxsupervisor

virtual production offers several technical advantages over traditional green screen setups. Here are some key benefits of virtual production compared to green screen studios 1-Real-Time Visualization Virtual Production: Digital environments are visible during filming, helping actors and crew visualize the scene. Green Screen: Actors perform in front of a blank screen, relying on imagination. ------- 2-Natural Lighting Virtual Production: LED screens provide realistic lighting that matches the virtual environment. Green Screen: Lighting is added in post-production, which requires adjustments. ------- 3-Camera Movement & Parallax Virtual Production: Camera moves create real-time parallax effects with the virtual environment. Green Screen: Parallax is created in post-production, increasing complexity. ------- 4-Reduced Post-Production Virtual Production: In-camera effects mean less post-production work. Green Screen: Extensive post-production is required to composite scenes. ------- 5-Better Actor Performances Virtual Production: Actors interact with immersive environments, leading to more natural performances. Green Screen: Actors perform in empty spaces, relying on direction. ------- 6-In-Camera VFX Virtual Production: Virtual environments and effects are captured in-camera, speeding up the process. Green Screen: Effects are added later, increasing post-production time. ------- 7-Real-Time Collaboration Virtual Production: Teams can make live adjustments on set. Green Screen: Visual changes happen only in post-production. ------ 8-Cost Efficiency Virtual Production: Higher upfront cost, but saves time and money in post-production. Green Screen: Cheaper initially, but post-production is expensive and time-consuming. ------- 9-Location Flexibility Virtual Production: Enables complex, hard-to-access environments. Green Screen: Offers flexibility but lacks immediate visual context for scale and integration. ------ 10-Faster Turnaround Virtual Production: Quicker transitions from filming to final edit. Green Screen: Longer post-production timelines. #virtualproduction

Previz and Postviz. CG and Stop Motion. Linear workflows versus Circular systems. Visualization versus Integration. For decades, animation has leaned into linear processes — CG & VFX exist in the infinite flexibility of the digital realm, while stop motion is grounded in the constraints of physical, tactile reality. Previz shows what?might be.?Postviz refines what?was.?But what happens when these islands of production grow and bend, like giant palm trees tall enough to connect distant islands, forming a seamless, circular system? Stop motion is the heart of cinema—pure, deliberate, tactile. Its artistry echoes humanity’s earliest storytelling, a dance between light and shadow, motion and stillness. CG, on the other hand, is the infinite canvas, where imagination has no boundaries and perfection is within reach. And production? Production is the storyteller’s compass, shaping the journey from concept to screen. These three systems—stop motion, CG, and production—are like islands, separated by tradition and tools. Stop motion, bound by physics, thrives in its imperfection. CG artists, untethered and limitless, bend reality to their will. Production connects them, but often in a linear, fractured workflow that demands compromise. What if these islands didn’t have to stand apart? What if, like the Hawaiian legends of giant tall palm trees bending to link islands, a new system could bring them together? Stop motion, with its tactile imperfections, is art in its purest form. CG, with its limitless precision, offers infinite possibilities. The two have often seemed at odds, forced into compromise by the demands of production. Compromise isn’t the answer — collaboration is. The heart of this collaboration is the camera—the shared eye of both systems. The CG camera bends to the artist’s will; the stop motion camera abides by the laws of physics. Bridging these two requires more than technology—it requires a philosophy. A new system of workflow doesn’t replace what came before—it?elevates?it. Stop motion and CG don’t have to compete. They can dance—a yin-yang of tactile and digital, grounded and infinite—creating a cycle where each strengthens the other. Imagine a world where stop motion gains the flexibility of CG without losing its soul. Where CG embraces the tactile authenticity of stop motion. A workflow that doesn’t just visualize but integrates—turning creative islands into a collaborative archipelago. #PrevizToPostviz #StopMotionMeetsCG #CircularWorkflows #TactileAndDigital #AnimationRedefined #ThreeSystemsOneStory #HawaiianBridges #ArtIsLoveIsLifeIsArt #Limnmedia #Limnmoco
