People often think that hiring stops over the holiday. I have found that to not be the case at all. Many companies actually speed their processes up to hopefully be able to onboard a new candidate in the New Year. It is true that things slow down a few days on either side of Christmas/New Years because most hiring managers are off/out of town, but it is not as bad as you think. Here are just a few searches that I am actively recruiting for: Accounting manager, great company, (hybrid) North Atlanta Senior Accountant, great company, (hybrid) North Atlanta Staff/Sr Property Accountant, amazing people, smaller company Senior Accountant, Buckhead, Hybrid Lead Analyst, PE owned company, someone out of TAS or i banking

They’re hungry, curious, and willing to learn on the go. They’re not experts at everything right off the bat, but they’re adaptable, resourceful, and ready to become an expert when needed. When you’re creating a new role in your company, consider a profile like that, someone who’s not locked into one area but is willing to do it all and grow into the role.
