Capital Region Transportation Safety Coalition at Capital Region Planning Commission
May 1st marked the recognition of National Heatstroke Prevention Day, a campaign reminding drivers to never leave a child unattended in a vehicle. Pediatric Vehicular Heatstroke can happen very quickly in a parked car. Temperatures inside an unattended vehicle can rise 15-20 degrees Fahrenheit in as little as 15 minutes. We will be sharing post to help prevent this matter throughout the month of may.
