This Veterans Day, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the brave men and women who have served our country. We are proud to be located in Veterans Square in Fairmont, West Virginia, where a bronze statue honors the courageous soldiers from WWI, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. The three marble monuments serve as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by our Marion County veterans, especially those who gave their lives in action. Thank you for your service and dedication. ????

Your Post has triggered my curity: to know if there was a role that the “Tuskegee Airmen” or the “Red Tails” served during the Vietnam War Era? This will be my next Research Project!
Between Nov. 1, 1955, and May 15, 1975, 3.9 million Americans served in the Vietnam War. Today, we pay tribute to those veterans and their families, many of whom never received the recognition or gratitude they deserved when they returned home. To those veterans, as well as the nearly 60,000 who didn’t make it home, we thank you endlessly for your service and sacrifice. ?? #NationalVietnamWarVeteransDay

We take so many things for granted. It's easy to forget in your day-to-day life. We live in-between the morning cups of coffee, the afternoon work, or our evening routines. In some ways, those individuals that gave it all, would have it just that way... FREE Free to live our lives in peace, Free to live in the pursuit of happiness, Free to build and grow and live in what is the most prosperous nation in the world. But we must never forget the cost of liberty and what it takes to get here. Today is June 6, and today we remember D-DAY. Today we remember all those individuals that served and made the ultimate sacrifice so that future generations in the United States and abroad could have a brighter future. Today we remember #freedomisntfree #dday #veterans
Today marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day, June 6, 1944. On that day, around 160,000 American and Allied troops carried out the largest combined land, air, and sea invasion in military history. By the end of the Normandy landings, approximately 10,000 soldiers had been killed, wounded, or were missing, including 6,603 Americans, 2,700 British, and 946 Canadians. These valiant men served as liberators, fighting to uphold the sacred principles of democracy and freedom. Their courage and sacrifice on the beaches of Normandy paved the way for the ultimate victory in Europe, ending the scourge of Nazi tyranny. With each passing year, the ranks of World War II veterans grow thinner, yet their spirit lives on. Today, we solemnly remember and honor all those individuals of exceptional valor and courage who served and made the ultimate sacrifice so that we may enjoy the liberties we cherish today. Their legacy serves as a reminder of the high price of freedom and the unwavering commitment required to preserve it. We owe an immense debt to these heroes, whose selfless actions secured a brighter future for generations to come. #veterans #dday #supportourtroops #landofthefree #neverforget

Reflecting on Sean Kuesia's insightful article, "Memorial Day — Celebrating Heroes and the Ultimate Economic Comeback," we honor the bravery of our veterans and the resilience of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that fueled America's post-WWII recovery. These businesses, embodying the collective American Dream, thrived through adaptability and community support, driving local economies then and now. Today, small ventures continue to be the backbone of our economy. This Memorial Day, let's celebrate our heroes and the enduring values of courage, unity, and entrepreneurship.
