The Power of Kindness: A Holiday Reminder This past Sunday, I was reminded of the incredible power of kindness through a Massage Envy member who visits us every week. Without fail, she brings snacks for the team—a simple yet thoughtful gesture that leaves a lasting impression on everyone. I made it a point to step from behind the desk to personally thank her and asked why she chooses to be so thoughtful toward my team. Her response? Genuine care and gratitude for the work they do. It reminded me just how meaningful small acts of kindness can be, especially during the busy holiday season. Be the hero this holiday season. Start your day with something positive to say. Ask your team members, “How are you doing?” Take time to have lunch with them in the break room. These small moments of connection go a long way. When you care about your team—their well-being, their day-to-day challenges, and the results they work hard to bring to the table—they’ll reciprocate by striving to make you proud. Let’s all commit to spreading positivity, gratitude, and empathy this season. Whether it’s a kind word, a thoughtful action, or simply showing respect, it all adds up to a better, brighter holiday season. Be kind. It's reflection #Wednesday, It's half way through the week already. We might have not even gone halfway in our set goals for the week, however we shouldn't overthink this. Raymond McCauley says, "Change what you can, manage what you cant." We can't bring back Sunday, Monday and Tuesday but, we have Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday to still accomplish our goals. We have got to manage what we have now... Here's what you can do... > Write out your plans with priority. > Form a daily to do list and input this tasks into it. Don't beat up yourself even if you couldn't do it that day. However, intentionally work towards achieving set goal. > Remember to drink water, eat on time and eat balanced meals, rest when your body begs. > Pray!!! Today, we’d like to share some tips and suggestions for adding some gratitude into your life. AND, if you want to magnify the positive effects of gratitude, consider sharing your practice with a colleague loved one, or even your team at work! WHEN: ?? Each morning or evening, write down 1-3 things you’re grateful for. ?? Text, email, or call a buddy each day to share your gratitudes. ?? Put a daily reminder on your phone, to pause, breathe, and look for a gratitude. ?? Meet regularly with one or more people and share your gratitudes. WHAT: ?? What are the everyday things that maybe you take for granted like your home, health, nature, food, water, work, pets, etc.? ?? Who are you grateful for (colleague, friend, loved one, server, practitioner, etc)? ?? What gifts or talents have you shared with your world? ?? What’s gone well? ?? What team or group accomplishments or encounters are you proud of? This week, pause, take a breath, and consider what or who you have in your life to be thankful for.
