Delicious. I have been asked whether people like sweet tea outside of the South many times. In fact, when I turned in my high heels for steel toed boots and joined Milo's Tea Company, Inc. many years ago, there were quite a few naysayers who said it wouldn't work. Today, Milo's is the # 1 Refrigerated Tea and fastest growing lemonade brand (with only 1 flavor right now) in America. We are driving virtually all the category growth competing with much bigger brands with larger wallets and resources (which in retail is big because our customers don't win if you're just stealing share from other brands - they need brands that grow the category to grow their business too). So, I share the picture below because to me it is beautiful, and to celebrate doing what people said we couldn't do - grow our delicious beverages outside the South. The picture below is Walmart Store # 2149 in Mount Vernon, Ohio, (between Cleveland and Cincinnati) where we have this gorgeous, large set because we earned it. And I could post similar pics from Arizona to California, and other non-Southern states in between that look as sweet as this. Tea (sweet, no calorie, unsweet, lemonade....) does sell outside the South - and you can prove those naysayers wrong with your brand and company too if you are laser focused on the fundamentals: ?? Deliver something uniquely special to your fans (our magic is consistent, homemade tasting deliciousness with real ingredients you have in your kitchen) ?? Be exceptional to your customer (we do this by being high velocity and delivering on time and full as a real partner in an honest relationship that drives the category), and ?? Treat your People like the beloved resource that they are (we do this by living our #PeopleFirst culture). Three real, simple ingredients just like our famous sweet tea that contains only water, pure cane sugar, and fresh brewed tea. It's not a hard recipe to write down. In fact, we tell everyone including our competition right there on our label. The hard part is the execution. It takes fanatical discipline and focus to maintain this simplicity and focus every day amid massive growth and scaling. But, when you live your own solid fundamentals (even when it's hard), you'll deliver winning deliciousness every time. What are the ingredients to your success? #BrewingALegacy #DrinkMilos

Hello friends family and acquaintances today is NATIONAL WHIPPED CREAM DAY | January 5! Add a little extra something special to desserts to celebrate on January 5 for National Whipped Cream Day. Not only does it add creaminess and a bit of pizzaz, but it also makes the difference between the ho-hum or a celebration kind of beverage or dessert. This holiday falls on Reddi-Wip founder Aaron "Bunny" Lapin's birthday (January 5, 1914 - July 10, 1999). Lapin invented Reddi-Wip in 1948, and the holiday celebrates whipped cream's contributions to the dessert world. While most often sweetened and flavored with vanilla, whipped cream dresses up desserts with other flavors, too. With a hint of coffee or chocolate or the zing of orange or mint, whipped cream adds a delightfulness to pies, cakes, and beverages. Of course, we call it by other names, too, such as Chantilly cream or creme Chantilly, milk snow, or snow cream. Recipes from the 16th century included whipped cream sweetened and aromatized. In these recipes, naturally separated cream is whipped, typically with willow or rush branches, then the resulting foam on the surface would from time to time be skimmed off and drained, which was a process taking an hour or more. The English name whipped cream found its beginning in 1673. The name snow cream continued to be used throughout the 17th century. #WhippedCreamDay #dallasharristips

Dirty Shirley Popsicles give the classic kiddie cocktail a frozen adult make-over. A fun refreshing treat for summer! INGREDIENTS 17 ounces cherry-limeade sparkling water ICE brand ? cup vodka 1 ounce grenadine syrup ? cup diced maraschino cherries approximately 12 whole cherries cut in half GARNISH 10 thin lime slices approximately ? inch thick, with a small ? inch-sized slice in the center just large enough for the popsicle stick to go through 10 popsicle sticks food grade INSTRUCTIONS 1. Add the cherry-limeade sparkling water, vodka, and grenadine syrup in a large (4-cup-sized) spouted glass bowl. Stir to combine and let the sparkling water settle (let the bubbles dissipate) for 2-3 minutes. 17 ounces cherry-limeade sparkling water, ? cup vodka,1 ounce grenadine syrup. 2. Place 10 (3-ounce sized) paper cups on a small, rimmed tray. Slowly pour the Dirty Shirley popsicle mix into each paper cup, filling almost to the top, being sure to leave approximately ? inch at the top of the cup. Each cup should have equal amounts of the liquid. 3. Place the tray of Dirty Shirley popsicles into the freezer (on a flat and sturdy surface) for 1 hour. 4. While your popsicles are starting to freeze, you will garnish your popsicle sticks by running a popsicle stick through the center of a single lime slice. Repeat until all 10 popsicle sticks have a lime slice attached. Set aside. 10 popsicle sticks,10 thin lime slices. 5. Once your Dirty Shirley popsicles are about a half of the way frozen, evenly divide the diced maraschino cherries into each of the cups of the partially frozen popsicle mixture and push them down into the cups slightly so they are distributed in the popsicle (a toothpick works great for this) before placing a popsicle stick with a lime slice into the center of each cup. Freeze for another 2-3 hours or until frozen solid. 6. Once the Dirty Shirley popsicles are fully frozen and you are ready to serve them, you will need to gently tear the paper cups off the outsides of each popsicle and dispose of the paper cups.
