What does it take to go public? Has it changed over the last 15 years?
Follow up question - what is the net profit margin required to go public. The correct answer is ZERO. It's not a real business until your net profit margin beats Walmart's... currently 2.88%.

If you were to bet money on whether a startup goes public or not, how would you evaluate the chances?
Am I old fashioned in being more interested in what the plans are for the funds rather than how the funds are raised?
1 - how do we get these underwriting fees way lower?; 2 - curious what companies were included in the data (e.g., was this only venture-backed enterprise tech)?

The problem with this post and really the entire concept of todays market is it seems no focus on Profit, because until we switch to a sustainable economic model that is fair for all that is the only thing that matters.
