EXACTLY Dan! I call them " immediately actionable progress goals " rather than process goals so that success is reached EVERY time you do it. I've successfully used them to do very challenging exercises that aren't especially fun for most of the last 40 or so years. tim #bgreen?? P.S. The immediately actionable part means the goals MUST: 1 ) Be something you can act on IMMEDIATELY, or at any time. 2 ) Are COMPLETELY within your control. That is the only thing stopping you is YOU. Bad gym hours, exercise at home. Too late, do SILENT exercises like kettlebell swings. Too late & noisy, do them outside at a park. It's raining, work out in a covered parking area like I sometimes do. P.P.S. Dump the New Year's Resolution & replace it with the EFD ( Every F'ing Day ) resolutions instead??

Happy New Year to all our partners (current as well as new), to my colleagues and friends also here on LinkedIn. I am looking forward to continuing our great conversations about how to support you and your leaders in becoming the best version of themselves. We know that sustainability and AI are prioritized topics for most organisations. But without leaders using their ability in being intuitive, creative, working with continuous improvement, using listening skills to give great feedback, being able to work with polarities and not the least being emotionally strong and resilient with a clear focus on developing people, we will never evolve and make the most out of being human and create a better world. 2025 will be another transformational year - with many new strategies to be put into action. Developing the behaviours needed for senior leaders is exactly what we do best and our continued conversations and actions will prove that.

To fully embrace the opportunities that lie ahead, we must sometimes close the doors behind us. Letting go of past comforts or familiar routines can be challenging, but it's also where growth begins. Each closed door isn't an end, but may be the beginning for something powerful yet to come: —a conscious decision to move forward, —to seek new possibilities, and —to challenge ourselves in ways we never thought possible. Today, let’s focus on the doors we need to close to truly open the ones that lead to our goals. Every step forward, no matter how small, brings us closer to the success that we envy. ?? Reflecting on Juneteenth and New Beginnings ?? Yesterday was Juneteenth, a day of profound liberation and reflection. To celebrate, I decided to embark on a new adventure: learning how to golf ????♀? ! ?? Decked out in my vibrant and stylish golf attire, and with my natural hair in its full glory, I embraced this new challenge. Juneteenth reminds me to fervently pursue the promise for liberation - the freedom to show up as our true selves in spaces that once excluded us. It's about choosing ourselves, whether it's convenient or not. This theme resonates deeply with a personal milestone in my life: stepping down as CEO. It was a journey of self-liberation, filled with lessons and growth. In my blog post, I delve into this journey of choosing myself, the challenges, the triumphs, and the continuous path towards true liberation. While we still have a long way to go to fully realize liberation in society, I believe that if we can't activate it within ourselves, it will be difficult to embrace it when the world finally lives up to the promise--freedom for all.
