We’ve got your back. ???? With love in the air this Valentine’s Day, allow us to (re)introduce ourselves—the dynamic husband-wife duo behind The Health and Well-Being Coaching Conference ?? Since 2018, we (Jess and Jay) have been secretly and meticulously planning what we lovingly referred to for years as “Project X.” In fact, much of the planning for this one-of-a-kind conference occurred while out on our daily walks around Ocean Beach—our hometown for nearly two decades, which is located just minutes from the event venue.??Originally the conference was planned for August 2020, and well, unfortunately a pandemic unfolded. It was then rescheduled to August 2022 and sadly Jess fell quite ill and scarily nearly lost her life. Flash forward to June 2023, with restored health and an unwavering commitment to bringing this unique event to fruition, we excitedly hosted the inaugural The Health and Well-Being Coaching and let’s just say the event was well worth the wait (but don’t just take our word for it— our “early adopters” can attest to this!). We have been happily married for over 11 years, enjoy spending time together traveling around the globe, and we also share a deep passion for educating others (check out our bios— we’re the real deal ??), giving back and serving our local community as well as the greater good through our personal and professional endeavors—to include through the creation of The Health and Well-Being Coaching Conference as well as the establishment of our non-profit organization, Real World Well-Being. Our love for each other and for our people runs deep, ya’ll, and we know you’ll feel at the conference in June. ?? https://lnkd.in/g-BgAQXp #thecoachingconference #lovetolove

So good being able to share that I participated in the Run for Kids event on Sunday, marking my return to public runs after that long hiatus due to COVID. ??♀? Despite being unable to run for several weeks, I was determined to push myself and reach new heights – quite literally, as I fulfilled my dream of running over the iconic Bolte Bridge! ?? Sure, it had its challenges, especially with the heat and lack of recent training, but knowing it was all for a good cause made every step worthwhile. I'm proud to have raised funds for the Royal Children's Hospital, a cause close to my heart as a parent who - like so many - has had to bring my children there. ?? ?? But the run was also good for me. Reflecting on the importance of self-care and well-being, I remember a recent workshop I helped organise for GABWA German-Australian Business Women Association with the passionate nutritionist, Eva-Maria Heikenwalder, who focuses on supporting busy professionals like us. Eva-Maria shared insights on the early signs of burnout, a concern she often sees among professionals - this year, as she made us aware, even in the first quarter. ?? It underscores the significance of staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, which is why I'm grateful for tools like my Apple Watch. They help me stay motivated and exceed my fitness goals. ?? Looking ahead, I'm already gearing up for my next challenge – the Mother's Day Classic Foundation's run on May 12th. Having worked with the incredible Women in Super team, the creators of the run, I can attest to its impact and significance. I encourage you all to join me in supporting this wonderful cause and making a difference together! Here's to staying active, supporting important causes, and embracing every opportunity to make a positive impact. Who's with me for the next run? Let's do this! ???? #worklifebalance #runforthekids #FitnessGoals #HealthyLiving #MothersDayClassic #burnout #givingback

We invite you to join us in a 30 DAY SELF CARE CHALLENGE beginning APRIL 1ST. As parents of children with special needs, it's easy to forget our own needs, but we can't pour from an empty cup. The Pure Living Family Foundation logo looks like 3 hexagons connected. They represent 3 things in life that lead to a Pure Life. The top hexagon is gold representing enlightenment. We must seek greater knowledge and truth in order to grow and reach our purpose. The bottom left hexagon is red. The red is to represent fire. We must put our body through fire in order to purify it. Detoxification is essential to a healthy life. Exercise is essential in order to find your higher self. The bottom right hexagon is blue representing water. Nobody can be in the fire all of the time. We must have joy and relaxation in order to find our highest selves. We all need time to rest and recover. We are taking these principles and putting them into practice with our 30 DAY SELF CARE CHALLENGE. Beginning April 1st we will: ?? 40 total minutes of movement, split into two 20 minute sessions. The key here though is to listen to your body. It can be as simple as a walk, or a stretching session, or as complicated as crossfit or an intense run. The goal here is intentionally moving your body twice a day, at minimum ?? 15 minutes a day minimum of reading something that you WANT to read. It doesn't have to be self help (though it could be if that's what you want!). Something for enjoyment ?? 15 minutes of meditation. Can be guided with an app, complete silence, outside, inside, whatever. Find some time everyday intentionally to breathe and check in with yourself ?? Diet not restrictive with the exception of sugar, intentionally once a day maximum or skip it all together ?? If you consume alcohol, it would be limited to three occasions throughout the challenge, again all about the intention We will encourage one another through our social media pages on Facebook and Instagram. The challenge is FREE to participate, just comment down below and let us know how we can support you over the 30 day period. We begin April 1st! #purelivingfamily #autismawareness #nonprofit #parenting #selfcare

Harnessing the Power of Generosity for a Life of Abundance and Purpose Many women, despite achieving success, feel exhausted and disconnected from their true purpose. I experienced this firsthand—working as a Senior VP while trapped in an abusive marriage, battling depression, and losing custody of my children. My turning point came when I discovered two transformative principles: generosity and unity. Two Core Principles That Changed My Life Generosity: We are caretakers of our resources, meant to give to others and ourselves. Embracing generosity opened the door to abundance in all areas of my life. Unity: We are here to connect and uplift one another. This led me to create Volunteer Well, a charity focused on empowering individuals and strengthening communities through generosity. The Cycle of Giving and Receiving Generosity isn’t just about giving; it’s about being open to receiving. This balance helped me rebuild my family and my life, leading to deeper connections and fulfillment. Your Journey to Transformation If you feel drained, it’s time to embrace the art of giving and receiving. Join The Art of Giving & Receiving, a free networking event to reclaim your joy and purpose. For a deeper transformation, explore The Finding Your North Star Program, a 4-month coaching journey to rediscover your purpose and create abundance in your life. This year's Salisbury Summer Fair was a huge success in raising £75,000 for Salisbury Hospice Charity The Retreat Village was phenomenal this year with many holistic practitioners giving up their time for free to support this worthy cause. I had a great time, my wellbeing tent was full for the mind-gut connection talk. I started by asking how many people eat on the run or whilst distracted, such as scrolling through social media. Most raised their hands. I then asked how many people suffered digestive discomfort - unsurprisingly the same people raised their hands. I then demonstrated how sugar can weaken your energy. Followed by some top tips: 1. Chew your food, preferably at least 20 times per mouthful and avoid distractions whilst eating. 2. Eat food that loves you as much as you love it. 3. Drink plenty of water, your body is 60/70% liquid and needs liquid to transport nutrients in and toxins out. We then spoke about food for the mind. Becoming the gatekeeper for the quality of thoughts you allow your mind to consume. This was a thought-provoking section, and many people had not thought about it that way before. For example, not watching the news if it causes distress as one lady pointed out - you can't change any of it anyway. In the 45 minutes I had to deliver as informative a talk as I could, I drew upon the work of Don Miguel Ruiz and his book - The Four Agreements. My next two top tips for a happier mind and gut are: 4. Make mindful moments. Make a habit of noticing the small things that bring you joy. 5. Practice the Four Agreements for a happier mind. Be impeccable with your word Don't take anything personally Don't make assumptions Always do your best. The final agreement is to acknowledge that if you only have 30% to give, you give 30% then you have given 100%. This dispenses with the perfectionist patterns that can be destructive if not managed effectively. I hope to be asked back next year and I'm already planning something even better! If this has inspired you to improve your mindset or gut health then book a discovery call: https://bit.ly/3psbRY5 hashtag #mindbodygut #salisburysummerfair Photo Credit Nicole Walker

Frustratingly, it's not uncommon to invest time and effort in crafting detailed service quotes, only to be met with silence. I extend flexibility, especially for charitable organisations, encouraging open dialogue if the proposed quote doesn't align with their budget. Yet, despite the offer to negotiate fair pricing, replies remain elusive. What compounds this frustration is discovering alternative avenues for demonstrations, often through uninformed channels. However, it's vital to underscore the importance of formal training for Laughter Yoga instructors. They must navigate health concerns, assess participant energies, and facilitate emotional release safely. I'm deeply committed to my craft, advocating for its tangible value beyond mere entertainment. Laughter Yoga isn't a novelty; it's a research-backed wellness practice requiring consistency for optimal benefits. Let's elevate our understanding and appreciation for its significance. #laughteryoga #wellbeing #valueinvesting #investinyourpeople #healthandhappiness ????
