One of the issues with global health right now is that we have increasing needs and demands every day there's more things that need to be done and the funding's just not there from traditional sources. One of the biggest challenges for the development community, Well, well, we're facing such huge challenges, I think lack of sufficient capital and funding. We know that development assistance into health has declined over the last three years. In Africa alone, there is a shortfall of over ??66 billion. To meet the health thieves every year, it is essential to bring in private sector funding. We need to find new and innovative models to finance the solutions to achieve the SDG's. And we need to attract more players in particular private sector into developing such financial solutions. So having the private sector participate to bring more resources as well as their own capacity and innovative way of doing things is actually quite a value addition the financing blending. Itself, it's usually what creates that incentive for everyone to come together to, to make it work. But by blending grant financing with private sector financing, we, we find that it's possible to derisk the private sector getting much closer to those poorer users of the health system. It's this, I think this blending that will make a large difference. It will significantly over time increase the pool of funding. And we know that that's been a big challenge in the health sector. Vodafone Foundation. Provides emergency transport system using public and private funding. This provides emergency transport for mothers and newborns in Tanzania and the Soto. But if the health systems around us aren't stronger through blended finance models, we're never going to be able to address the real problems and that we're seeing in health round the world. What we find at the Global Financing Facility, what is that when we support countries to develop their national plans. They have, rightly so, really wide ambitions.
